CMS-D Registration Information

 

FALL OPEN HOUSE - free!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 29 - 10AM TO NOON

Register for both Fall & Spring classes! 

 

Fall classes begin the week of September 8th!

Fall 2015 & Spring 2016 class schedule

 

There are several options to register for a music class at the
Community Music School-Detroit (CMS-D):

  • Online* - (currently Fall semester registrations only) - click on the button below:

  • Email - download a registration form (see below), complete, scan and send to banksch@msu.edu.  And, call the CMS-D with your payment information (credit or debit card number)

  • Mail - download a registration form (see below), complete and send with payment (check/money order made payable to Michigan State University) to:

  • In person at the CMS-D office in mid-town Detroit

When registering by email, mail or in person a minimum deposit of $20 per student is required at the time of registration.  Or, you can pay the entire tuition amount (see class schedule for tuition amounts).  Monthly payment plans are available. 

Financial assistance* is available based on a student's need -- household income and size; see Registrar for more information.


PLEASE NOTE: Do NOT send credit card or bank account payment information through email or fax. Please call the CMSD office directly at (313) 578-9716 to submit credit card/ bank account information.
