Beginning Group Rock Guitar

Adult students learn the basics they need to rock out on guitar or bass in this exciting group class. This class will prepare students to play in their own rock bands. Students will learn how to perform basic chords, chord progressions, strumming/plucking patterns, riffs, simple melodies and simple improvised and or/non-improvised solos. TAB reading and basic music theory (such as rhythm notation, music notation, and chord symbols), will be stressed. Each student will learn to play a whole song, and/or parts of selected songs.

This class is taught Yoshihiro Fukagawa.

Class starts January 21, 2014
Tuesdays, 6-7 p.m.
Tuition is $150 per semester (12 weeks)


**This program is not offered in the summer.
