Playing the ukulele is easy and fun! Even if you have never played an instrument before, you’ll be playing the uke after the very first lesson with a big smile on your face. In this course, students learn a short history of the ukulele, the names of the parts, tuning, and four or five chords which can be used to play thousands of songs. Students should bring their own ukuleles, tuned G-C-E-A and a three-ring binder with plastic sheet protectors to keep music and instructional notes organized.
Tuesdays,1–2 p.m. (12 weeks)
Class starts on March 5.
(Group ukulele lessons are also offered through the folk program at RCAH.)
This class is taught Ben Hassenger.
