Group Piano

This innovative approach to beginning piano study takes place in the CMS digital keyboard lab and acts as a springboard to private lessons. The group class provides children, ages 7-15 years old, with the opportunity to learn piano concepts in a social environment through ear training, singing, rhythm work, games, ensembles, performance, technique, theory, and improvisation.

Instructor: Peggy Lau

Ages 7-9, Level I: Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m. - Beginning June 30
Ages 7-9, Level I: Wednesdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. - Beginning July 1

Ages 9-11, Level I: Tuesdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. - Beginning June 30
Ages 9-11, Level I: Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m. - Beginning July 1

Class schedule by dates:

Tuesdays: Beginning June 30, July 14, 21, 28, August 4, 11, 18

Wednesdays: Beginning July 1, 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12, 19

Tuition is $87.50 per student. There is a 5% discount for MSU faculty, staff, and students, however, you must enroll in-person or over the phone to receive the discount.
