Group Piano

This innovative approach to beginning piano study takes place in the CMS digital keyboard lab and acts as a springboard to private lessons. The group class provides children, ages 7-15 years old, with the opportunity to learn piano concepts in a social environment through ear training, singing, rhythm work, games, ensembles, performance, technique, theory, and improvisation.

Ages 7-9, Level I: Wednesdays, 5-5:45 p.m.
Tuition is $140 per semester (12 weeks)
Class starts January 22, 2014

Ages 9-11, Level II: Mondays, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Tuition is $150 per semester (12 weeks)
Class starts January 27, 2014

Ages 12-15, Level I: Mondays, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Tuition is $150 per semester (12 weeks)
Class starts January 20, 2014

Group piano for ages 7-9 is taught by Derek Polischuk and College of Music piano pedagogy students under Dr. Polischuk's supervision.
